Supplies Available from the Bursar Offices

You may order supplies in person, by phone, or by putting a note in your deposit bag. If there is a charge for the supplies, please provide your AREA/ORG number and we will prepare the necessary documents.

Coin Wrappers

Coin Wrappers (Rolls) are no longer supplied by the bank. We do have boxes (of 1000 wrappers) that are available for a fee. However, we encourage departments with a large volume of coin to purchase boxes of these wrappers from University Stores www.ustores.umn.edu or one of the office supply vendors.

Currency Straps

Currency Straps are no longer supplied by the bank. We do have boxes (of 1000 straps) available for a fee. However, we encourage departments with a large volume of currency to purchase boxes of these straps from University Stores www.ustores.umn.edu or one of the office supply vendors.

Plastic Bar-coded Dept. Deposit Bags

Those departments using the Bursar Departmental Deposit Drop Boxes must use the Plastic Bar-Coded Department Deposit Bags. These bags can be ordered from the East Bank Bursar Office by calling 625-7535. Note: There is a charge for these bags so you will need to provide us with your account string to charge.

Ziplock Deposit Bags

The following ziplock deposit bags are available through the Bursar Office

* For these bags, departments must supply their own locks and provide us with a copy of the key.

** This bag has a built in lock. Keys will be provided with the bag.

NOTE: Bag prices are subject to change.

Change Order Slips

Change Order slips are available to University departments at no charge. Notify the Bursar Office and indicate how many pads you need. (They come in pads of 100).

White Cloth Bags

We have a limited supply of white cloth bags available at no charge. These bags are typically used for sending bulk coin to the bank. If you have a need for some of these bags, notify the Bursar Office and indicate how many bags you would like.
